In the group setup form you can configure as many groups as you need. Any kind of name can be used to describe the groups to be used for students.

To add a group just press the add button and a new record will be created. Enter the name and press save. 
Groups will be used to filter reports and to group student in a flexible way independent from section. For example, all First year students can be divided in Morning group and Afternoon group. The morning group can have different sections.
