Eimas will allow the integration within the database of digital documents of
various formats: jpg, tiff, bmp, pdf, doc. xls. Documents will be saved inside the database allowing all the security
features like password, encryption etceteras. To add a digital document press the digital document button and a form
will show with the necessary properties fields to add the documents. Document must be already digitized using a scanner or other systems. Once
the document is in the computer it can be added using the add button on the
documents tab. Just
select the document, add a description and save. The original document will not be deleted or changed in
location. You can
manually delete the original document because the copy is already in the
database of eimas. To retrieve the document for printing or viewing just select the
corresponding record in the list and double click or press the view button.
